MovementProtector and SpasmControl

This safety feature of the MOTOmed Viva2 permanently controls the muscle tone of the user and recognizes and eases cramps and spasms in accordance with the therapeutic principle of antagonistic inhibition. That means that the rotation direction is changing gently until the cramp has eased.

ServoCycling and active training

Users with little residual strength can improve them by means of the ServoCycling function (motor-assisted training). The resistance for active muscle training on the MOTOmed Viva2 can be adjusted in 20 moderate levels, depending on the condition of the user.

SymmetryTraining

The user’s target is to equally engage both legs or arms (symmetrically). The user can see the activity of his arms or legs in a real-time graphic during the course of training. Strength, endurance, coordination, and concentration are trained by the MOTOmed Viva2.

Training analysis after the training

The MOTOmed Viva2 produces an analysis with 8 training-relevant and significant training results. This can be viewed at the end of each training session.

• Big buttons and handlebar—for those with limited motor activity in arms, hands and fingers

• Large, easy to read display—for those with vision and perception disorders

• Visual feedback to distinguish active and passive training mode—ideal for those with low muscle strength and depth sensibility disorders (bathyaesthesia)

• Simple operation—great for those with general problems in operating appliances
