Reducing pressure on the buttocks, and reducing the risk of pressure sores, The EquaGel Protector Cushion is a great choice. It’s ideal for those with very limited mobility or are prone to pressure sores. It has a waterproof cover and velcro strip on the bottom, perfect for wheelchair users.
The cushion is constructed of two layers of dry-polymer gel; the top layer a thin layer of gel, the lower layer is a thicker gel layer, for posture support. The Adjustable Protector cushion is contoured to the pelvic are and is 6.35 cm in height.
Customisation is possible with the Adjustable Protector Cushion. It features two gel inserts to customise the cushion. The inserts are 1/4 and 1/2 and can be used either separately or together to adjust the height under the pressure areas. The height can be adjusted from 1 3/4 up to 2, 2 1/4; or 2 1/2 deep.
The EquaGel Adjustable Protector Cushion has a waterproof cover and velcro strip on the underside of the cover for wheelchair users.
