Allied Health

Allied Health Professionals

At AC Mobility, we have an Allied health team, consisting of dedicated Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Our team is committed to ensuring the best outcomes for each client we support.

We are able to conduct trials of assistive technology in collaboration for general rehab, aged care and paediatrics with customers and their treating therapist/s. We understand the importance of finding the right equipment and ensuring that our clients have the opportunity to experience and assess the technology firsthand.

We provide a detailed analysis of key equipment features and benefits to support your recommendations and client goals.

Additionally, we explain the distinctions between products and provide insights on why one may be more suitable than another.

Our friendly and experienced team understands the importance of responsiveness and provides timely information with trials and quotes.

Our experienced Allied Health team visit clients and their therapists throughout Perth metro area and regional WA. Our showroom in Malaga is also open Mon-Fri 8am – 4pm.

We offer in-home trials for clients and their treating therapists to provide families the opportunity to test equipment in the comfort of their homes before making a decision.

We have a range of general rehab, aged care and paediatric mobility equipment options and sizes available.

Equipment hire

AC Mobility also provides equipment hire services which provide short-term access. This can help clients who require equipment for a short period of time or those who want to trial an option for potential long-term use.

How our trials work

  1. The participant’s therapist (sometimes participant/family/caregiver) contacts us to request a trial and complete the clinical pre assessment form.
  2. The Clinical Trial Pre Assessment Form provides us with height/weight/body measurements and other relevant information to ensure we bring the most appropriate equipment to the trial.
  3. Our Sales team will be in touch to offer a date and location of the trial with you and your participant. Trials are usually completed at the participant’s home or environment the equipment is intended to be used (E.g., school). We can also complete the trial in our showroom which allows us to have a wider range of equipment available at the trial.
  4. One of our therapists will set up the equipment (if required) prior to the appointment and will take the equipment to the location of trial. As a general rule, the participant’s therapist should always be present at the trial. If they are unable to be physically present, they can attend through a video conference.
  5. After the trial, scripting of equipment will be completed if required. If additional/alternative equipment is identified during the trial, a retrial may be needed to ensure equipment is appropriate.
  6. Our Sales team will then create a quote from the script.
