The IPAI MINI is a specialised car seat designed for children who need more support than a standard booster can offer, in a compact size suited to smaller users. With tilt-in-space, recline, adjustable lateral trunk supports and a 5-point harness, it helps maintain a safe and comfortable posture during vehicle travel. A 90° swivel base, ISOFIX installation and tool-free adjustments make transfers and everyday use easier for families and caregivers.
The Ipai-LGT was assessed by the Australian Safety Assessment Program (AuSAP) in 2021/22, in accordance with the AuSAP Test and Assessment Protocol, which uses selected criteria from the AS/NZS 1754 Child restraint systems for use in motor
vehicles.
The testing included one frontal and one side impact test and was conducted at the Britax crash test facility in Melbourne, Victoria. The test results were analysed by the AuSAP Expert Committee.

It offers growth-adjustable postural support for children approximately 100–125 cm tall. For a broader growth range, the IPAI MAX Car Seat is also available, and a conversion kit allows the IPAI MINI to be upgraded to the MAX configuration as the child grows.
A 90° swivel base assists with transfers by rotating towards the vehicle door before locking securely for travel. Tilt-in-space, stepless recline and integrated lateral trunk supports promote aligned, supported posture, while tool-free tilt and ISOFIX depth adjustments make positioning simple.
An integrated 5-point harness with reduced-access buckle supports children at risk of unbuckling. Modular accessories, including foot supports, medial thigh supports, seat depth extenders and an upper limb support tray, allow the seat to be tailored over time.
The IPAI MINI is crash tested to ECE R129 and assessed through AuSAP for safety confidence.
