The Safe2Go Vehicle Harness is designed for older children and teens who require additional behavioural or postural support when travelling in vehicles. Compliant with AS 5384 – the Australian standard for specialty harnesses – it works with the vehicle’s existing 3-point seatbelt to enhance safety and help reduce inappropriate movement or seat-leaving behaviours.
This two-part system includes a soft, adjustable vest and a compatible vehicle mount. The vest can be worn either outside the vehicle or attached once seated, offering flexible transfer options to suit each individual’s needs. Once seated, the vest clips easily into the mount, ensuring smooth transitions and reducing stress for the person and their caregiver.
The harness comes in seven sizes and offers two mounting options – vertical seat mount or top tether mount – with or without ISOFIX. This allows compatibility with a wide range of vehicles, including private cars, taxis, school transport and more. Designed with comfort in mind, it helps improve behavioural outcomes during travel and supports a calm, secure journey.
